Terms and Conditions for Japanese Language Classes

2. Service Description
We offer one-on-one online Japanese language lessons for students worldwide. Our lessons are customized based on the student’s proficiency and learning goals. The lessons are conducted via video call, using platforms such as Zoom or Google Meet.

Lesson Types:
Beginner to Advanced Japanese
Conversational Practice
JLPT Preparation (N5 to N1 levels)
Business Japanese
Pronunciation and Accent Coaching
Writing and Grammar Review
Lesson Duration: Each lesson lasts 1 hour. You can book a series of lessons, or individual lessons as per your preference.

3. Pricing Information
Individual Lesson: ¥4,000 per 1-hour session

Package: 10 lessons for ¥37,000
(A 10% discount applies when booking 10 lessons in advance.)

Payment Methods:
Credit or Debit Cards (via Stripe)
PayPal (optional)
Currency: All payments are processed in Japanese Yen (JPY). Stripe automatically converts your payment if you’re located outside Japan.

4. Refund Policy
We offer a full refund if you cancel a lesson at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the lesson will be charged in full.
If you cancel a package of lessons, the unused lessons will be refunded, minus a ¥1,000 processing fee.
No refunds are provided for missed lessons unless rescheduled within 48 hours.

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
Lessons can be canceled or rescheduled up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time. You can cancel or reschedule your lesson through the booking system or by contacting us directly.
Rescheduled lessons must be taken within 30 days of the original booking date.

6. Delivery Timing
All lessons are conducted via video call at the scheduled time. A link to the video call will be sent to your email 24 hours before the lesson.
In case of technical issues or delays, we will notify you in advance and work with you to reschedule the lesson.

7. Consumer Protection
Your personal information, including contact details and payment data, is handled with the utmost care. We do not share your information with third parties.
You have the right to cancel your agreement with us within 14 days of purchase, provided no lessons have been delivered. For packages, refunds will only apply to unused lessons.

8. Privacy Policy
We respect your privacy. All personal information, including your email, payment information, and lesson progress, is stored securely and only used to process payments and communicate about your lessons.

9. Payment Processing
Payments for all lessons are processed securely through Stripe. Stripe is a trusted payment gateway that supports various international currencies and ensures that your payment details are kept private and safe.
Stripe accepts payments through major credit/debit cards, and it will handle the currency conversion if you’re paying from outside Japan.

10. Dispute Resolution

In case of any disputes, please contact us directly at higashikawakohei@gmail.com. We are committed to resolving any issues amicably. If you are not satisfied with the resolution, you may refer to Stripe’s dispute resolution process.
